OBTAINING A VIOLA
To obtain a trial viola from Shar Music, please be in contact with them for your viola or even sheet music orders. Please refer to the Welcome Email for our Shar contact's email address. They are ready to help, but please do contact them at least one week before the workshop at the latest - earlier is better. They need time to ship them out. The trial violas are free for you to use for the duration of the workshop and if you don’t want to purchase one, then you would just need to ship it back to them at the end of the workshop. We are so grateful to Shar for their partnership with Violin2Viola. Even if you do not need a viola from Shar, you will still need to have a viola during the workshop in order to fully participate, so please make arrangements to have one.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS
We do not have required books or materials for this workshop, but we thought it might be helpful to know some materials we use in our own playing and teaching. We will be referring to them in our workshop and will provide non-copyrighted materials for you to follow along with anything in the workshop. That said, it is nice to have a really good, modern edition of etudes, scales, solos, and excerpts, so we’re providing our favorites to help you build your collection. We highly recommend having these as part of your library.
